1. Acceptance of Terms

By using PlotRocket's services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Description of Services

PlotRocket is a cloud-based series planner designed for writers of episodic fiction. We offer two plans, to serve writers who'd like AI-assistance and those who do not.

Go Humans, Beat the Robots Plan

Provides structure and workflow tools to create a comprehensive series bible and script-ready outline without the use of AI collaboration.

Two tiers are available:

• Free: One Series, One Season.
• Unlimited: Provides access to create unlimited stories.

Cyberpunk Writer Plan

Full series planner with an AI collaborator that offers context-aware suggestions for story elements. Users can accept or dismiss AI suggestions on a field-by-field basis. This plan is available in four tiers:

• Free: One Series, One Season, with a generous monthly prompt token allowance.
• Tyro: Unlimited Stories, with Level 1 Prompt Token Allowance.
• Adept: Unlimited Stories, with Level 2 Prompt Token Allowance, and automatic access to advanced tools for script writing.
• Wizard: Unlimited Stories, with Level 3 Prompt Token Allowance, and automatic access to advanced tools for script writing, punch-up, and continuity.

Prompt token allowances may vary and are subject to change as technology evolves.

3. Account and Security

Users are required to register for an account to use PlotRocket. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Payment Processing

Payments for PlotRocket services are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to abide by Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the selected plan.
• Payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
• You may cancel or modify your subscription at any time through your account settings. Changes will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Changes to Subscription Plans

We reserve the right to modify subscription plans, including pricing and features, at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided via email or through updates on our Pricing Page. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

5. AI Collaboration

The "Cyberpunk Writer" plan includes AI-generated content suggestions. PlotRocket does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or originality of AI-generated content. Users may accept or dismiss AI suggestions.

All content created using the "Cyberpunk Writer" plan is marked as "With AI" in output documents.

6. Intellectual Property

Users of all plans and tiers retain full ownership of the content they create, with or without input from the AI collaborator. PlotRocket does not claim ownership of user-generated content.

7. Content Guidelines

Users are responsible for ensuring that their content complies with all applicable laws and respects third-party rights. PlotRocket reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms.

8. Privacy Policy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect user information.

9. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

• Use PlotRocket for illegal purposes or violate any laws.
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the service.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your account.

10. Limitation of Liability

PlotRocket is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. In no event shall PlotRocket be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

11. Changes to Terms

PlotRocket reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Third-Party Services

Our Services rely on third-party services, including OpenAI's API and Google Firebase. By using PlotRocket, you acknowledge and agree that your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

• OpenAI's API Services: We use OpenAI's API to provide AI-generated content suggestions in the "Cyberpunk Writer" plan. Your use of these AI features is subject to OpenAI's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

• Google Firebase: We utilize Google Firebase for data storage, application serving, and communication with OpenAI. Your data may be processed and stored by Firebase in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase Terms of Service.

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services. We recommend reviewing their terms and policies to understand how they handle your data.
